Birthday Parties
Our birthday parties are an extremely popular choice at Truemans Heath Riding School, and something we consider a speciality. Birthday parties can be booked for a Friday after school (during April-September), or during the daytime between Tuesday – Friday (including during all school holidays) – a minimum charge of 4 riders is applicable for any party, and we take riders from 5yrs old. We are unable to accommodate parties on weekends.
In order to give parents more choice over what they would like included in booking their party, we now have three ‘packages’ you can choose from; all packages focus their efforts on children having fun, and there are a wide variety of activities that the party-goers can take part in.
Bronze
This is our standard package, and perfect for those who want a ride and nothing more. Prices are set at £17.50 per child for a 30 minute ride* – the ride focuses entirely on having fun (so is not set out like a formal lesson) and is suitable for all abilities of riders. All children will be accompanied by a helper on the ground (as well as the instructor in the middle) for those who are unable to ride unaided.
Silver
Silver level includes a 30 minute ride* There will also be additional ‘craft-time’ – children are supplied with the colours to decorate their very own ‘horse masks’ which they can personalise and take home; the birthday girl/boy will also receive a rosette – time expected at the stables (60mins). Price: £20.00 per child.
Gold
Gold level sees the Silver package enhanced by every child at the party receiving a rosette. Children will also spend their craft-time decorating a horse shoe which they can then take home. Expected time at the stables (90mins). Price: £27.50 per child.
Some things just to note:
• Hat hire included. Deposits are required to confirm a party booking – these are refundable up to 48hrs before the event. The day of the party may be changed no later than 48hrs before the originally booked date.
• *We do recognise that in the UK we can sometimes be subjected to inclement weather, however we don’t let that stop us at THRS! We will always have back-up plans prepared so this means you can relax on the day knowing that the ‘show will go on’ – whether the children take their ride in the ménage (something we always aim for when possible), or whether the games and the laughter are taken back to the stables in competitive races and challenges on bareback horses, the length of time they have booked with the horses (depending on which package is chosen) will be honoured whatever the weather – you can rest easy knowing your child’s enjoyment is guaranteed.
